Nel Parco naturale Val Troncea chiusa per lavori la strada per l'Alpe Mey

Sono ricominciate le sessioni notturne di pesca amatoriale al pesce siluro nel Parco Naturale del Lago di Avigliana. Nella serata di sabato 4 luglio, il gruppo di pescatori dilettanti selezionati dal personale guardiaparco delle Aree Protette delle Alpi Cozie si è riunito sulle sponde del Lago Grande nell’ambito del progetto europeo Life Predator per il contenimento del Silurus glanis, vorace predatore alloctono, dai bacini d’acqua dolce dell’Europa meridionale.

Uno strumento pratico e gratuito che accompagna residenti e visitatori alla scoperta delle eccellenze del territorio.

On the evening of Friday, June 26, a new catfish fishing technique was tested in the Avigliana Lakes Natural Park. This scientific activity aims to identify, using a sonar, the largest specimens of Silurus glanis that typically reside in the deeper areas of the lakes.

The project created by the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps on the internet site iNaturalist celebrates 100 thousand reports. This is an initiative created in 2017 on the prestigious American web portal to collect and archive naturalistic observations gathered by specialists or by simple enthusiasts according to the principles of citizen science or participatory science.

The reopening of the provincial road 173 is confirmed for Wednesday, July 1st      

Summer is the season with the highest visitor turnout in the Parks and the busiest time for park rangers, both from the perspective of monitoring and from the perspective of surveillance. Because as the number of people, tourists, shepherds, and activities in general increases, so does the likelihood that crimes will be committed against the environmental heritage. The challenge is to promote a culture of respect for the regulations that aim to ensure coexistence between humans and nature in Protected Areas. Sometimes using punitive measures, as Luca Giunti, the new head of the Surveillance Area in the Parks of the Cozie Alps, recounts.

Nelle giornate del 10 e 11 giugno 2026, è stato condotto un monitoraggio ittico presso il Lago Nero nel comune di Cesana Torinese all’interno del sito della Rete Natura 2000 “ZSC Cima Fournier e Lago Nero” gestito dalle Aree Protette delle Alpi Cozie. L’attività è stata effettuata dalla struttura Bioaqua (Centro di referenza regionale per la biodiversità degli ambienti acquatici) dell’Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale del Piemonte, Liguria e Valle d’Aosta (IZSPLV), con l’autorizzazione della Città Metropolitana di Torino all’utilizzo di elettropesca e reti professionali.
