Interreg-ALCOTRA Project “ACLIMO” - Drops of Change: eight experiences of sustainable water management in agriculture and livestock: a series of eight videos that tells some of the numerous experiences of sustainable water management in agriculture and livestock that have emerged in the area thanks to the commitment of operators in dialogue with institutions, and that deserve to be shared and promoted.

The evening is called Drops of Change, like the title of the videos produced by the Interreg project Aclimo on the subject of water resource management in the Protected Areas of the Western Alps. The appointment is on Friday, March 21 at 9 PM at the municipal cinema of Condove (TO) in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, 13 for the first public screening of the films, organized thanks to the collaboration of the Protected Areas of Alpi Cozie with the Valsusa Filmfest on the occasion of the World Water Day. A conference featuring images and words with Luca Giunti, park ranger, Elena Valsania, director, Bruno Usseglio, park ranger and filmmaker, and Alba Meirone, head of the technical area of the Park Authority.

ACLIMO aims to provide concrete support to the territory towards a sustainable transition of human activities, in particular pastoral ones, for the conservation of the natural heritage, through an ever-increasing knowledge of the effects of climate change on the habitats and species most vulnerable to availability of water.

Excursion in the Natural Park of Avigliana Lakes to talk about Water: from the water cycle, to the origin of the lakes, to the relationship that humans have established over the centuries with this environment. The educational field workshop will allow us to analyze the communities of macroinvertebrates and establish the level of water quality.

A journey through the history of the formation of the Val Troncea to discover the dynamics related to watercourses: the animal and plant life next to the river, the management over time of water resources, and the risks related to hydrogeological instability.
