It was an exciting homecoming for the theatrical performance about the Selva of Chambons, which on Saturday, August 16, enlivened the warm evening in Fenestrelle in the Council Hall. The delicate story of an event set in the Val Chisone at the end of the 1800s, when the inhabitants of a small fraction – mostly women – managed to stop the felling of a valuable larch forest.

Ente Parchi Alpi Cozie
L'Ente ha indetto un nuovo concorso pubblico per titoli ed esami, per la copertura, con rapporto di lavoro a tempo pieno e indeterminato di n.1 posto di istruttore amministrativo, area degli Istruttori presso l’Ente di gestione delle Aree protette delle Alpi Cozie.

The Orrido di Foresto Natural Reserve with its Via Ferrata, in the Municipality of Bussoleno, has significant tourist potential and, at the same time, an equally important responsibility. With the aim of a more conscious visitation of the Reserve and its Ferrata, the project “Towards the Top – Inclusive Mountain” has indeed begun to take its first steps this summer.
Research
Even during the summer of 2025, monitoring activities are underway to measure the impacts of tourist attendance on mountain flora and fauna. After an initial experimental phase conducted in 2024, the work continues within the Interreg BiodivTour Alps Project along Provincial Road 173 of the Assietta, where intense human presence occurs in a fragile high-altitude environment during the summer.
