The managing body of the protected areas of the Cozie Alps has participated in the call "2022 - PSR 2014-2020 - Operation 7.1.2. Drafting and updating of naturalistic plans - 2017 Call Second phase of implementation," through which it obtained a total funding of € 129,588.80 aimed at the drafting of 3 natural planning instruments for the following Sites belonging to the Natura 2000 Network.

The project aims to counteract the spread and further introductions of the European catfish Silurus glanis in Southern Europe, where it is an invasive alien species, contributing to the implementation of EU Regulation IAS No. 1143/2014 in the lakes of Southern Europe.

BiodivTourAlps aims to address the challenge of biodiversity conservation by reducing the effects of tourism activities on the environment and natural resources in protected natural areas, improving the knowledge and management of human-nature interactions.

ACLIMO aims to provide concrete support to the territory towards a sustainable transition of human activities, in particular pastoral ones, for the conservation of the natural heritage, through an ever-increasing knowledge of the effects of climate change on the habitats and species most vulnerable to availability of water.

Il progetto monitora una serie di gruppi animali, con l’obiettivo di identificare e documentare i cambiamenti che possono avvenire nel corso del tempo, come conseguenza dei cambiamenti globali; inoltre, mira ad approfondire le conoscenze su taxa poco studiati, quali i ragni, e ad analizzare la distribuzione della biodiversità lungo gradienti ambientali e altitudinali, anche al fine di individuare specie e habitat più vulnerabili ai cambiamenti ambientali e climatici e attuare di conseguenza opportuni modelli gestionali.

The Alpine Vulture and Birds of Prey Reference Center is the reference structure for the Piedmont Region for issues related to the conservation of protected species of alpine vultures and birds of prey, both diurnal and nocturnal, and their habitats.

L'Ente di Gestione delle Aree Protette delle Alpi Cozie è stato ammesso al finanziamento del bando di Complemento per lo Sviluppo Rurale della Regione Piemonte 2023-2027 intervento SRD04 denominato “Investimenti non produttivi con finalità ambientali” e sotto intervento A che si prefigge l’obiettivo della “Salvaguardia, ripristino e miglioramento della biodiversità”.
