From September 1, 2026, the staff at the Salbertrand office can be contacted only via email or cell phone.

From July 15, 2026, to April 1, 2027, the headquarters and visitor center of the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park and the Colombano Romean Ecomuseum will be undergoing energy efficiency renovations (roof replacement, installation of thermal insulation, and replacement of fixtures). As of today, Monday, July 6, the visitor center is no longer open to the public. The staff will remain on site, available to the public for information or transactions, until the start of the work. Subsequently, all offices will be closed to the public until spring 2027.

The headquarters of the Salbertrand Entity is not reachable by phone. The technicians have been trying to resolve the issue for days. In the meantime, it is possible to refer to the other operational offices of the entity.

During the summer of 2026, which is proving to be the hottest ever and one of the most drought-stricken in the Western Alps, the management body for protected areas of the Cozie Alps is engaged in three main projects dedicated to water, which is becoming an increasingly central issue in terms of ecological balances and regarding the management of human activities at high altitudes and the safety of those who inhabit and frequent high-altitude lands.

Riaperta la strada di fondovalle in Val Troncea

Nel Parco naturale del Gran Bosco di Salbertrand, dal 20 agosto al 15 settembre, un'area di sosta per la migrazione post riproduttiva da numerosi individui di piviere tortolino è sottoposta a tutela.
