During the summer of 2026, which is proving to be the hottest ever and one of the most drought-stricken in the Western Alps, the management body for protected areas of the Cozie Alps is engaged in three main projects dedicated to water, which is becoming an increasingly central issue in terms of ecological balances and regarding the management of human activities at high altitudes and the safety of those who inhabit and frequent high-altitude lands.

Every Friday, throughout the summer of 2026, we update the website with the events in the Parks of the Cozie Alps scheduled for the next 10 days. This year's calendar is titled "Discover and Love the Nature of the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps" and includes a rich offering of events, conferences, guided tours, and exhibitions to liven up the days of all those who choose to visit the valleys of Susa, Chisone, and Sangone, the Natural Parks, Special Reserves, and Sites of the Natura 2000 Network managed by the Park Authority.

As of today, Monday, July 6, the visitor center is no longer open to the public. The staff remains on site, available to the public for information or paperwork, until the start of the works. Subsequently, all offices will be closed to the public until spring 2027.
