Chat Berton
Saturday, March 28 at 9 PM in Exilles, district of Cels Morliere, at the Circolo Amici del Cels, Occitan music with Chat Berton.
The group's name refers to the legend of the Gatto Berton lost on the mountain of the same name, Mont Chaberton. This mountain, which marks the border between France and Italy, has been at the center of the epic tale of the Escartons for centuries. This mountain symbolizes the "trait d'union" between Occitan populations on either side of the alpine watershed. The group's purpose is to enhance the heritage of traditional music and dances from the Occitan territories.
