Minima Floralia - Cecilia Lasagno and Paola Bertello
On Friday, April 10 at 9 PM in Chianocco, at the parish church of San Pietro Apostolo, a popular concert Minima Floralia by and with Cecilia Lasagno and Paola Bertello.
Imagine a sound garden where each piece is a unique flower in language and origin. The musical dialogue blossoms from the praises of Creation by Hildegard of Bingen to the licentiousness of jesters and the poetic contrasts of Cielo d'Alcamo. The journey traverses flowerbeds of Sephardic songs, ballads of Gaelic Scotland, and the famous Cantigas de Santa Maria.
Among paths of ancient songs, where the plant world serves as symbol, remedy, and magic, we arrive at modern sounds that draw from tradition to sing about the unchanging nature of human experience. An immersive experience in the eternal becoming of life, which, like a plant, transforms tirelessly from seed to flower.
