A soup with wild herbs - Agnes Dijaux
Friday, March 27 at 5 PM in Oulx at Casa Mistral, Piazza Federico Mistral, 7 screening of the film in French Une soupe aux herbes sauvages.
A story of civil resistance conducted under the motto "Des moutons pas de camions" and well told in a book titled "Une soupe aux herbes sauvages". Author Emilie Carles, an elderly but very active teacher from Val de Près, a true heroine of this story. At the same time, she sparked a discussion about future prospects. On one side, the proponents of the Serre Chevalier model (supporters of the highway), on the other, the advocates of a gentler model, compatible with the still well-preserved environment of the valley. Given the premises, it was the arguments of the latter that prevailed. From that moment, the Clarée began its second life. Also thanks to the symbolic connotations of the story, the valley has become a social and economic case, a model of compatibility between social and environmental needs, examined and described by many journalists, sent by specialized publications and not only.
