Chat Berton
Friday, March 13 at 9 PM in Cesana Torinese at Sala Formont in Via Pinerolo, Occitan music with Chat Berton.
The name of the group refers to the legend of the Gatto Berton lost on the mountain of the same name, Chaberton. This mountain, which marks the border between France and Italy, has been at the center of the epic of the Escartons for centuries. This mountain symbolizes the “trait d'union” between Occitan populations on either side of the alpine watershed. The group's aim is to enhance the heritage of traditional music and dances from the Occitan territories.
