Wednesday, August 26: guided excursion to discover an extraordinary work carved into the mountain in the 16th century: the Pertus of Colombano Romean
Accompanied by guides from the Parks of the Alps Cozie, you will traverse this fascinating hydraulic tunnel (water conditions permitting), exploring the history, ingenuity, and hard work of the man who created it. A unique experience among nature, memory, and wonder, at the heart of the Alps.
Departure at 8:00 AM from the Salbertrand FS Station
Return around 5:00 PM
Shuttle transport to the Grange della Valle
Challenging excursion due to the length of the route and the type of experience
Total positive elevation gain: approximately 350 meters
Essential mountain clothing, rain jacket, suitable hiking shoes, sunscreen, hat, and water. Spare socks and shoes for crossing the Pertus
