The protected areas of the Cozie Alps have entrusted the management of the alpine refuge Casa Assietta, dedicated to Jack Canali, to the temporary business group (ATI) consisting of ONALP by Plano Roberto, based in Susa (TO), and IL CASTAGNETO DI PIAN DEL CONTE by Sorba Laura, based in Villar Focchiardo (TO). The contract has a duration of six years, from 2024 to 2029, and includes the payment of an annual fee.

Within protected areas, certain human activities must adhere to environmental protection principles. Among these is the use of drones, which is permitted only for professional, monitoring, and scientific research purposes. The use of remotely piloted aircraft for these purposes in natural parks, nature reserves, and Natura 2000 sites managed by the Cozie Alps Protected Areas is subject to a specific request and impact assessment.

The new version of the mobile app "Alpi Cozie Outdoor" is available updated with the "Le Strade dei Forti" function that allows the consultation of the main fortifications along a route that connects the plain to the mountains, theater of battles between Waldensians and French dragons. The route follows the Glorious Repatriation of the Waldensians towards the Val Troncea and Val Germanasca. The initiative enhances the fortified landscape thanks to the project funded by the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation. The Alpi Cozie Parks have integrated their app with the new function dedicated to fortifications, also implementing multilingual management. The app is based on data from the Alpi Cozie Outdoor geodatabase, allowing for the addition of other fortified points and stages in the future.

The Parks of the Cozie Alps are conducting a survey on the perception of wildlife and road accidents in the Susa Valley. The initiative follows technical interventions to improve the safety of animals and raise awareness among drivers. Meetings are organized and informational materials are distributed to involve the community. The LIFE WolfAlps EU project aims to reduce investments in wildlife in the upper Susa Valley. An informative video and an online questionnaire seek to evaluate the impact of the actions taken and any changes in the population's attitude. Participation in the questionnaire is open to all visitors to the area concerned.

In view of summer 2024, the Cottian Alps Parks will organize visits, exhibitions, workshops and traveling summer campuses dedicated to children. Chiara and Marco will lead a six-day trek in the Orsiera Rocciavrè Natural Park with overnight stays in the Amprimo, Toesca and GEAT refuges.
