On Monday, February 24, 2025, the anti-poison canine units of the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps were engaged in a double inspection in the territory of Giaveno (TO) to verify two areas where the presence of poisoned bait was suspected. The first, in the morning, took place in the Borgata Pomeri area and was arranged by the Carabinieri in the area where the previous week a wolf carcass had been found, which showed traces of toxic substances during necroscopy.

The new educational activities on the theme of wolves, organized by the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps and aimed at schools of all levels, are officially starting. After extensive preparation, experimentation, and scientific validation, in January, the results of the work were presented to the entire group of Guides of the Cozie Alps Parks, who are now ready to welcome the school groups.

After 5 intense years of work in the field and coordination of activities and actions, the final conference of LIFE WolfAlps EU, organized in Trento from May 17 to 19, marked the milestone of a project that since 2019 has been able to disseminate a wealth of scientific knowledge and informative tools on the coexistence between human activities and wolves in the Alps.

On Saturday, August 17th at 9:00 PM at Rifugio Selleries in Roure, in the Orsiera Rocciavrè Park, there will be a thematic meeting with the park ranger Luca Giunti.
