Reopening of the Orrido di Chianocco and Ferrata

On April 29, 2025, with ordinance no. 6 of the Mayor of the Municipality of Chianocco, access to the Orrido di Chianocco and the Via Ferrata has been reopened.
Following the interventions carried out last year that involved controlled demolition and the dislodging of some dangerous sections of rock, the installation of a steel cable harness anchored to side anchors to contain the rock masses that present greater criticalities, and the positioning of a monitoring system that has shown no movement, the dangerous conditions that necessitated the closure of access have been alleviated.
The current ordinance revokes the mayoral ordinance no. 3 of 11-03-2020 regarding the
closure of access to the Orrido trail.
