On Friday, April 24 at 4 PM in Meana, Centro Tonelli - Via Colle delle Finestre 23, a presentation of the celebratory volume marking 10 years of walking in the Valsusa area will take place, curated by Marco Rey and Flavio Giacchero.
A publication that celebrates ten years of walks through the Cenischia, Susa, and Sangone valleys. At the heart of the project is the meeting between the villages: the song of oral tradition becomes the unifying element that connects the steps of the participants along the paths. In this journey, the Francoprovençal language is not only a memory but a living reality that has found essential support in the protective norms for linguistic minorities to be preserved and promoted as a mother tongue.
The volume collects a decade of explorations between music and discoveries, testifying how walking and singing together have forged deep bonds, transforming the enhancement of the territory into an experience of human sharing.
