Description

Water is essential for the life of plants and animals and is one of the main agents involved in the geomorphology of the landscape. Glaciers and rivers have shaped the appearance of the territory on which humans live and carry out their activities. A journey through the history of valley formation to discover the dynamics related to watercourses: animal and plant life next to the river, the management over time of water resources, and the risks associated with hydrogeological instability.

Methodology

A journey through the history of the formation of Val Troncea to discover the dynamics related to watercourses: the animal and plant life next to the river, the management over time of water resources, and the risks related to hydrogeological instability.

The topics will be addressed through explanations, stories, games, and experiments.

It is possible to request an initial 2-hour classroom intervention.
