The council of the agency starts targeted visits in the territory to strengthen synergies.

On Thursday, July 16, the President and the Council of the Entity, accompanied by the Director, began a series of visits to the territory, coordinated with institutional sessions, to better understand local realities and build collaboration networks with local actors.

The first stop was the Forte di Fenestrelle, where the councilors met the Progetto San Carlo Association, represented by the director Mara Celegato and the president Juri Bossuto. During the meeting, the foundations were laid to strengthen the synergies between the Entity and the Forte, starting from shared projects such as the initiative Darkersky on the theme of dark skies. The topic of mutual training for the Guides of the Cozie Alps Parks was addressed, highlighting the need to jointly seek resources to develop proposals that can increasingly unite historical-cultural themes with naturalistic ones. The visit concluded in the room set up by the Entity inside the Forte, for which the Council expressed the intention of improvement interventions.

The delegation then moved to Pragelato to visit the Museum of Costume and Traditions of Alpine Peoples, visit organized by councilor Roberta Allora with the Guiot Bourg Foundation. The Museum was particularly appreciated and the potential for collaboration between the Entity and the Foundation was highlighted, also favored by the proximity to the Casa degli Escartons, owned by the Entity. Here, the last visit was led by Bruno Usseglio, an official of the Entity, who allowed for a deeper exploration of the setups present and the historical-cultural aspects represented by the house museum of the Natural Park of Val Troncea.

In the afternoon, the Council held its session at the headquarters of the Entity in Pragelato, during which a first document to initiate a shared territorial path was adopted. The initial goal is to define more effective management forms of the Strada dell’Assietta for enhancement and protection, coordinating with respect to the other historic mountain roads of the Chisone and Susa Valleys.
