On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September, a guided excursion in the woods is proposed with the Guide of Cozie Alps Parks, Chiara Bellando, to listen to the deer rutting, an ancestral sound of call and warning.
An exciting experience!
To listen to the deer rutting, one must be willing to enter into a deep relationship with nature... silence, the ability to observe, and sometimes accept not being in the right place at the right time. You will be guided with stories and information about cervids as you walk on mountain trails among beech trees and conifers.
The excursion, for a fee, starts in the afternoon with a return in the evening
Meeting point in Cortavetto at 2:30 pm
Walk to the Toesca refuge.
Listening to the deer rutting.
Dinner at the shelter.
Return walk in the evening
Essentials: hiking shoes, hiking clothing suitable for the season and altitude, long pants, jacket, water bottle, flashlight, raincoat.
Meeting time: departure at 2:30 pm in Cortavetto
Accompanying cost: 14 euros for adults, 7 euros for children/youth 6-16 years old. Dinner at the shelter 25 euros, drinks not included
