A double excursion in the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park with the Alpine Guides Park, Laura Matta and Massimiliano Pons.

Two different guided excursions at high altitude, departing simultaneously, one from the valley, in the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park, will meet at Rifugio Assietta with the park ranger Giuseppe Roux Poignant, in charge of the vulture monitoring and observation projects to learn more about these magnificent gliders, now frequent in the high valley in summer, arriving from France.

The excursion, for a fee, is challenging and lasts all day.

Essential items: hiking shoes, hiking clothing suitable for the season and altitude, water, sunscreen, and packed lunch.

Meeting point:

  • departure Val Susa at 8:30 am at Ser Blanc parking, Monfol - entrance from Sauze d'Oulx
  • departure Val Chisone at 8:30 am in Gran Puy – Pragelato

Shuttle route and schedule:
Shuttle to Ser Blanc - Sauze d'Oulx:
Oulx (FS Station): 8:00 am
Oulx (Piazza Garambois): 8:05 am
Sauze d’Oulx (Tourist Office): 8:15 am
Shuttle to Gran Puy – Pragelato:
Sestriere (Tourist Office): 8:00 am
Pragelato (Val Troncea junction): 8:10 am
Pragelato (Caffè des Alpes): 8:15 am
Pragelato (Tourist Office): 8:20 am

Accompaniment cost: 14 euros for adults, 7 euros for children/youth aged 6-16 years.
