The 1994 calendar of the Orsiera Rocciavré Park and Chianocco reserve is dedicated to the signs left by the centuries-old human presence in the protected area. Talking about architecture in a context like that of the park also means talking about nature and the environment. The way of building in the mountains is influenced by the morphology of the land and the available resources: position safe from landslides and avalanches, presence of water, timber, arable land, pasture.
