Selleries refuge

The refuge, located in the Alpe Selleries basin at an altitude of 2023 m above sea level, is owned by the Piedmont Region, which carried out its renovation starting in 2003.
It is located in the heart of the Orsiera Rocciavrè Natural Park and is the starting point for numerous hiking and mountaineering itineraries.
A short distance from the refuge it is also possible to practice sport climbing on a small rock structure. It was officially inaugurated on 18 June 2006 and now has a large restaurant, bar and 14 rooms for a total of 70 beds.

The refuge can also be reached by car in the summer (convenient parking near the building). Thanks to their great experience in the sector, the Selleries gang takes care of the management of the refuge assisted by some good collaborators during periods of great attendance. Reservations are always highly recommended.

The refuge is a stopping point of the Giro dell'Orsiera.

Nel periodo estivo si può raggiungere il rifugio in auto salendo la val Chisone fino a Depot (frazione di Fenestrelle).
Di qui si sale a Pracatinat lungo la strada che conduce al colle delle Finestre e da Pracatinat il rifugio è raggiungibile percorrendo circa 5 km di strada sterrata.

In alternativa, oppure nel periodo invernale, si può salire per il sentiero partendo dalla frazione Villaretto Superiore di Roure Chisone.
