Mushroom picking

In the protected areas and in the Natura 2000 network areas managed by the Authority, specific regulations apply for the collection, removal, damage and detention of epigean mushrooms:
- in the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park, the collection, removal, damage or possession of epigean mushrooms, even inedible ones, are prohibited, without prejudice to the exercise of the right of civic use of mushrooms in favor of local communities (for pursuant to art. 14 L.R. 22 April 1991 n° 16);
- in the Val Troncea Natural Park the activities listed above are prohibited pursuant to the regulations of the naturalistic plan.
- in the Laghi di Avigliana Natural Park, in the Orsiera-Rocciavrè Natural Park, in the Chianocco and Foresto Ravine Nature Reserves, in the Natura 2000 Network Sites (including areas outside the Val Troncea Natural Park of the Val Troncea SIC), mushroom picking is regulated by Law 352/93 and by Regional Law 24/2007, i.e. permitted to holders of qualifications;
The amount to be paid is:
- €5.00 daily
- €10.00 weekly
- €30.00 annually
- €60.00 biennially
- €90.00 three-yearly.

You can choose to pay immediately by card or other electronic payment methods or generate an IUV with which to make the payment in various shops in the area (for example Lottomatica).

- Pagamento: L.R. 24/2007 raccolta funghi;
- Importo: 5 Euro (daily), 10 Euro (weekly), 30 Euro (annually), 60 Euro (biennially) o 90 Euro (three-yearly).
- Dati personali: Name, Last name, e-mail, codice fiscale
- Note: Autorizzazione raccolta funghi with the period of piking.

Direct deposit into the treasury without commission costs at a branch of the Unicredit Bank registered to the treasury service of the Cottian Alps protected areas management body via treasury identification code 2469100, with the same reason.

Minors under 14 years of age do not require a license, but must be accompanied by a person with a license to pick mushrooms (maximum two minors for each person with a license). The license is valid for the entire regional territory and allows the collection of up to a maximum of 3 kg per day per person. Each annuity expires with the calendar year (31 December) regardless of the payment date.
Derogation: Harvesting without a harvest permit is permitted (but with a limit of 3 kg) for the following species: tacks or good family (Armillariella mellea), field mushrooms (Agaricus campestris/macrosporus), different species of the morchella genus, dried legs (Marasmius oreades), long-eared crab (Pleurotus ostreatus), long-haired coprinus (Coprinus comatus), drumstick (Macrolepiota procera).
