On Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 9:00 PM, in Salbertrand, at the headquarters and visitor center of the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand natural park, located at Via Fransuà Fontan 1, there will be a thematic meeting with a debate proposed by Pro Natura Alta Valsusa with the support and collaboration of the Alpi Cozie Parks.

Climate warming and the irregularity of snowfall affect alpine ecosystems and species. The rise of the thin white line on the mountains marks slow but profound changes that concern all forms of life: observing, understanding, and knowing the consequences is as necessary as it is urgent.

Interventions by the staff of the Alpi Cozie Parks and the Alta Valle Susa Forest Consortium.

The meeting is part of a series of three meetings organized by the Alpi Cozie Parks included in the communication activities of the Alcotra BiodivTourAlps project:
- Silence in the mountains: August 11, at 9:00 PM, council chamber in Oulx
- Restoration of the mature: August 28, at 5:30 PM, tourism office in Cesana Torinese
- The thin white line: September 4, at 9:00 PM, headquarters of the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand natural park

 

Participation in the event for the Alpi Cozie Parks Authority has educational value for naturalist guides, mountain media, and cycle-tourists, and recognizes a total of 2 APAC credits (specific activity).
