On Monday, August 11, 2025, at 9:00 PM, in Oulx at the council chamber of the Municipality - Piazza Garambois 1 - thematic meeting with a debate proposed by Pro Natura Alta Valsusa with the support and collaboration of the Alpi Cozie Parks.

Noise pollution affects the environment and wildlife. The Mountain Wilderness France Association, with the project WilderPass, has scientifically measured the sound impact of traffic on mountain roads to identify its effects on wildlife, altering their behaviors, reducing the areas in which they feed, and interfering with the sound communications that are essential for reproduction and defense against predators in many species.

The meeting is part of a series of three meetings by the Alpi Cozie Parks included in the communication activities of the Alcotra BiodivTourAlps project:

- The thin white line: September 4, 9:00 PM, Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park office

 

Participation in the event for the Alpi Cozie Parks Authority has educational value for naturalistic guides, mountain media, and cycling tourism and grants a total of 2 APAC credits (specific activity).
