Drops of change - Video screening
On Friday, March 21 at 9:00 PM in Condove, at the Comunale cinema - Piazza Martiri della Libertà 13 - as part of the Valsusa Filmfest and on the occasion of the World Water Day: "Drops of Change. Water Management in Protected Areas".
Climate change has altered the hydrogeological balance of the Alps. Prolonged periods of drought alternate with extraordinarily intense precipitation, which, along with rising temperatures, affects the health of watercourses, lakes, and wetlands. Not to mention traditional human activities, such as agriculture and pastoralism, which must change habits, working methods, and knowledge to adapt to new scenarios.
During the evening, films produced by the Interreg Aclimo project will be screened, showcasing the best practices in water resource management in the Western Alps, along with some videos about the aquatic ecosystem heritage in the Parks of the Cozie Alps.
