The 2020 calendar of the Parks of the Cottian Alps is dedicated to butterflies.

Butterflies are a symbol of lightness, resurrection, beauty, and clean environments. Pollution, habitat compromise, abandonment of traditional farming practices, and climate change degrade many natural areas. Insects are the first to suffer from these heavy modifications, moving away or becoming extinct.
