The Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park was established in 1980 to protect a unique mixed forest of white fir and red fir at the regional level. Impressive trees under which in the last century animals such as deer and wolves have returned to live, becoming the symbol of the protected area: the Lords of the Gran Bosco!

Description

A day to learn about the main tree species in the Park and the traces that refer to the fauna heritage of the area.

During the excursion in the Park, there will be practical activities such as creating a herbarium and plaster casts of wild animal footprints.

Methodology

Escursione nel Parco del Gran Bosco di Salbertrand per imparare a conoscere gli alberi imponenti per proteggere i quali è stato istituito  e gli animali che ne sono diventati il simbolo.

Laboratorio in campo per realizzare i calchi in gesso delle impronte trovare lungo il percorso e raccolta di campioni di foglie per la creazione di un erbario.
