THE FILM
In the Valli di Lanzo, the Courenta is not just any dance: it is the dance that everyone has inside them, in one way or another. The Courenta Mai festival has brought Courenta dancers in front of the mirror, to look at each other, to compare themselves with one another and with the audience that came to learn about the numerous variants. With the awareness that cultures and traditions remain alive as long as they have the strength to open up to others, to take risks, and to continue to grow, introducing new elements and experimenting with different forms of participation. The proposal to screen the documentary "Courenta Dentro" by Andrea Fantino allows for a deeper discussion of the traditional music and dances in the Valli di Lanzo.
THE STAGE
