How to plan and carry out a mountain hike safely

Description

Excursion in the valley of the Val Troncea Natural Park with a careful look and the aim of learning how to interpret the messages of the mountains.

To become young mountain experts, it will be necessary to learn about the environment and the climatic and meteorological phenomena that characterize it; understand how to orient oneself in this environment and what rules of conduct must be followed to safely undertake an excursion.

Methodology

We will challenge each other, divided into groups, in an excursion full of hypothetical unexpected events and see which "team" will be able to win the title of "mountain experts".

Topics will be addressed through explanations, experiments, and games.

To establish some theoretical basics of orientation, safety, and rescue in the mountains, a preliminary two-hour class meeting is recommended.
