Traffic by motorized vehicles in the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park is regulated as follows:
Throughout the entire territory of the Park it is forbidden to travel off-road with motorized vehicles: however, off-road routes necessary for carrying out agricultural and forestry activities and for surveillance and public service activities, with any mechanical means, are permitted.
The vehicular accesses of the roads closed to transit are closed with movable barriers and must be closed after the passage of authorized vehicles.
The maximum speed allowed for all mechanical vehicles within the Park is 15 kilometers per hour, with the exception of emergency and security vehicles.
Park Authority issues specific authorizations for circulation with motorized vehicles for holders of real rights (ownership, lease, usufruct, use, etc.) on buildings and land located within the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park.
The authorizations, the discipline of which was regulated by Executive Council resolution no. 42 of 03.08.2009, the resolution of the Executive Council n. 23 of 04.16.2010 and Management determination no. 118 of 14.09.2009 of the former management body of the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand natural park, are issued by the body upon submission of an application-declaration to be presented to the offices of the body together with a photocopy of a valid identity document of the applicant.
Having assessed the admissibility of the application and carried out the appropriate checks, the Institution issues the relevant authorization mark within 30 days from the date of the request.
Subsequently, the applicant can also temporarily grant his permission to another person within the limits of the established regulations, using the delegation form.
