The Cozie Alps have great naturalistic and scenic value, they are a treasure trove of biodiversity and are rich in historical-cultural points of interest. They offer important hiking itineraries that cross through Pinerolo, Val Pellice, Val Germanasca, Val Sangone, Val Chisone, and Valle Susa. The area provides unique settings and contexts for many outdoor activities.
In this western corner of Piedmont, a few kilometers from Turin, is home to the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps, an integrated system of natural parks, nature reserves, and special protection areas, covering a protected area of over 30,000 hectares.
Alpi Cozie Outdoor is a project established by this area, developed to promote and enhance its trails, routes, peculiarities, interests, and activities.
The itineraries of the regional hiking network, in stages, with various hiking difficulties, are the ideal means to discover, appreciate, and experience mountains, landscapes, villages, and uncover numerous points of historical-cultural interest.
