Amateur fishing activities in the Avigliana Lakes are permitted but regulated:

  • in the Lago Grande of Avigliana it is necessary to have a fishing license and a daily fishing voucher;
  • in Lago Piccolo di Avigliana it is necessary to have a fishing license and FIPSAS card.

How to get your fishing license

For amateur fishermen: the inland fishing license (type B amateur fishing license) is valid for 365 days from payment and must be accompanied by a valid identity document. Under the age of 14 and for the subjects referred to in art. 3 L. 104/92 it is not necessary to make the payment. An identity document is sufficient.
It is obtained with the payment of Euro 35.00 equal to the payment of Euro 12.00 tax + Euro 23.00 surcharge

For foreign amateur fishermen: the fishing license is valid for 3 months from payment and must be accompanied by a valid identity document
It is obtained with the payment of Euro 14.00

Payments via the fishing license service available on Sistema Piemonte.

Fishing vouchers

Fishing vouchers can be purchased:

  • by Mr. Giorda-Allais, in Via Pontetto 25, tel 011/9328058, starting from 8.00 am;
  • c/o Avigliana IAT office, Corso Laghi 389;
  • c/o Tabacchino in Corso Laghi 245 in Avigliana.

 

FIPSAS card

The FIPSAS Card can be purchased at the FIPSAS office or with a payment of €30.00 (for young people up to 15 years of age €6.00) on postal account no. 21621446 made out to: Provincial Section of Turin FIPSAS – Via Principe Amedeo 29 - Turin, following the instructions on the website www.fipsas.it.

ATTENTION!
The Città Metropolitana di Torino with DCR 195-2023 identifies 3 protection zones where fishing is prohibited:
  • Lago Grande and Canale Naviglia: the entire Canale Naviglia and the lakes connected to it, as well as the stretch of lake shore that extends to the right and left of the mouth of the canal for 110 m in a southerly direction
  • Rio Meana and Lago Grande: Rio Meana for its entire course and shore of Lago Grande for 100 m west and 15 m east of its mouth
  • Lago Piccolo: from 100 m before the crossroads that regulate the entrance to the Rio Meana outlet to 100 meters before the mouth of the Rio Giacomino
