Discover and love nature - Program July 11-20

Every Friday, throughout the summer of 2026, we update the website with the schedule of events in the Parks of the Cozie Alps planned for the following 10 days. This year's calendar is titled "Discover and love the nature of the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps" and offers a rich program of events, conferences, guided tours, and exhibitions to liven up the days of all those who choose to visit the valleys of Susa, Chisone, and Sangone, the Natural Parks, Special Reserves, and Sites of the Natura 2000 Network managed by the Park Authority.

Saturday, July 11 at Colle delle Finestre

Inauguration of the Road to Colle della Vecchia

After the completion of restoration works carried out during the summer of 2025 on the important historical and environmental route of the Cozie Alps. Elio Pulzoni and Luca Marello, respectively President and Director of the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps, will be present, along with officials from the Park Authority and technicians from the companies that carried out the work.

At Colle delle Finestre, municipalities of Usseaux and Meana di Susa at 10 a.m., a short excursion to the area subject to the works will follow.

Sunday, July 12 in Sauze di Cesana

Wings in the Valley, discovering butterflies

Free excursion on the trail from Sauze di Cesana to Rollieres, suitable for everyone. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for mountain excursions, bring water,
a hat, sunscreen.
Meeting point: 9:30 a.m. at Casa Viva on Via Principale. Duration half a day. Max 25 participants.

Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park

Location Monfol, Sauze d'Oulx.
From July 4 to August 30, open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Paid parking service with the following rates:
- for all three or four-wheeled vehicles €5.00 for the day;
- for all three or four-wheeled vehicles €3.00 for a fraction of a day's parking starting from 2 p.m.;
- for motorcycles €3.00 for the day;
- for motorcycles €2.50 for a fraction of a day's parking starting from 2 p.m.
Bicycles can park for free in designated areas until spaces are filled.
Near the parking lot, a refreshment point is available every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Val Troncea Natural Park

Open from June 20 to September 6 on weekends from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. From July 11 to August 30, continuous opening every day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Ecomuseum Colombano Romean

From July 7 to August 27 guided visits every Tuesday and Thursday.
On Tuesdays, meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Parish Church of San Giovanni Battista, Salbertrand.
Guided visit to the ecomuseum sites.
On Thursdays, guided visit with the possibility of agreeing on sites and times.
Reservation required by the previous day at tel. 338.6485404.
Duration of the visit approximately 2 and a half hours.
Cost: full €12, reduced €8 (6-16 years), free for under 6 years.
