«Silent Predators» is the title given to the workshop organized by the Life Predator Project in Cameri (NO) on December 5, 2025. This is a free and open-access conference, hosted in the lovely setting of Villa Picchetta by the Protected Areas of Ticino and Lake Maggiore, where the knowledge and experiences gained in managing the catfish in the lake basins of Southern Europe, including the Avigliana Lakes Natural Park, will serve as a starting point for reflection and discussion on other initiatives that deal with invasive alien species.
The leading experts in the field will speak to share strategies and pool scientific data to make interventions in the protected areas and sites of the Natura 2000 Network more effective and efficient. There will also be space for the educational and artistic dimension, thanks to the extraordinary images of the photographer Mattia Nocciola and the discussion during the afternoon round table.
The event can also be followed online from 9 AM to 4:30 PM on the Life Predator Project's Facebook page.
