By order no. 47 of April 20, 2024, the Municipality of Bussoleno has imposed a ban on access to the Foresto ferrata.
The mayoral order prohibits access to Rio Rocciamelone in the section from the cemented traverse at the entrance of the Orrido di Foresto up to the exit on the path of the via ferrata's canyons, and will cease to have effect only with a specific revocation act.
The reasons are related to the meteorological conditions that have led to the rise in the water level inside Rio Rocciamelone and the potential danger to public safety caused by the high water levels in the Rio riverbed.
The full text of the order is provided in the attached document.
